First, a bit about us

St Andrew’s is the UK’s leading Mental Health charity with an excellent and well-deserved reputation as a provider of specialist mental healthcare, and a top 20 charity overall. We have a multi-disciplinary team of over 4,500 delivering world-class, innovative, holistic care across four locations.

All of our profits are re-invested into new services and new facilities. Today we proudly continue to build world-class mental healthcare services – recently opening Europe’s largest young peoples’ unit. And because we’re independent, we have the flexibility to make a real difference. Joining us is your chance to make a big contribution to amazing work that is transforming the lives of some of society’s most vulnerable people.

What you need to know about this role

The growth of the Charity and our focus on delivering the highest quality care means we are managing significant additional staffing requirements for Registered Nurses across a diverse range of sites and services within the UK.  We need to hire an internal recruiter to support this activity in what is a very challenging and competitive candidate market.

This role is part of a team responsible for delivering a consistently high quality recruitment service to the Charity. With a focus on direct candidate attraction, pro-active sourcing of nursing staff, recruitment event management, talent pool development, recruitment planning and reporting, and process improvement, you will be instrumental in meeting our challenging nurse recruitment targets.

And a little more about you

You will have recruitment experience, ideally within an internal recruiter role, in complex, fast-moving and competitive environments.  Experience of genuine direct recruitment in volume and specialist fields is essential, and exposure to the nursing or healthcare sector is preferred.

Few organisations can currently match the growth targets we have planned. We can offer you outstanding career development and training, a range of benefits and the opportunity to join us at a truly exciting time in our expansion and development.
