The Research Officer will contribute to an Open Society funded project entitled ‘Visions of Europe’ jointly with civil society and research partners across Europe based at the Conflict and Civil Society Research Unit in the Department of International Development under the supervision of the Unit Director.
Candidates should have a PhD, or outstanding equivalent experience, in European Studies, Comparative Politics, or a related discipline. An interest in European reform and experience in co-ordinating research and engagement activities. Excellent command of the English language both orally and in writing and preferably working knowledge of one or more other European languages. They should also have demonstrable ability to analyse and research complex phenomena and Excellent IT skills.
