The Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics is pleased to invite applications to the above post.

Job Description

 

The Grantham Research Institute has a growing programme of work on sustainable finance. We are looking for a Research Officer (post doc) to focus on how central banks and financial supervisors can best contribute to the greening of the financial system. The successful candidate will work with other researchers and policy analysts, and will play an active intellectual role in the life of the Institute.

 

Candidates are expected to have, or be about to complete, a PhD in environmental finance, environmental economics, environmental policy or a related field. Candidates are also expected to have the ability to produce high-quality analysis in a timely manner, including ability to analyse and research complex ideas and apply appropriate methodologies. Prior experience in sustainable finance in the public, private and third sectors would be desirable.
