The Retail Maintenance Manager leads regional teams of Maintenance Coordinators responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of retail sites. This individual will own the development and implementation of a Maintenance strategy that will keep our CO operated sites in best-in-class condition that representative of the brand, and compliant with all regulatory and BP standards for operations. The role will be responsible for managing the performance of vendors sourced by Procurement, using industry standard techniques for managing trip charges, instituting preventative maintenance programs, and managing demand by engaging directly with sites to triage the problem prior to vendor dispatch. The role will interface with Procurement and Operations to establish appropriate SLAs for vendors. In addition to routine break-fix repairs, the Retail Maintenance Manager will also manage life cycle asset replacements and small capital projects involving asset conditions.

  • Managing performance of vendors within the parameters of the SLAs
  • Manages the OpEx budget for break-fix repairs
  • Manages warranty claims on new construction
  • Utilizes data to diagnose trends and opportunities for reducing expense.
  • Evaluates equipment choices presented by Category Management to assure specifications are fit for use
  • Liaise with Procurement in sourcing vendors and contractors that meet our safety criteria
  • Liaise with internal colleagues across BP to leverage all internal resources in the triage of site tickets
  • Assure all work is performed by API skilled technicians, and all safety protocols are followed
  • Assure compliance with all regulatory and BP minimum standards.

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preference for Engineering related degree

  • At least 8 years of relevant business experience with multi-site retailers in broad geographies
