Our Rights & Permissions team manages all third party licensing and asset research and supply across multiple subject matters for various types of learners.

Based in either Melbourne or Sydney, we are seeking a Rights & Permissions Editor for a 7 month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for managing third party (copyright) assets including images, artwork and videos for use in Pearson Schools Products.

Reporting to the Rights & Permissions Team Lead, you will also be responsible for auditing content for third party material and obtaining permission from copyright holders; maintaining a database of rights data; negotiating rights and fees and managing budgets.

Key deliverables:

●Manage media assets

●Maintain vendor relationships

●Time and cost management

●Cleared rights

●Comply with R&P policies and standards

●Support team and key stakeholders

Qualifications

●Relevant tertiary degree or other qualification (mandatory)

●Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat and at ease with other applications

●Internet research skills

●Working with databases

●Interest in photography and design

●Knowledge of copyright law
