Job Description

Sales Administrator

Description

Our mission is clear: to become one of the UK’s leading universities for in-depth industry engagement. As a pioneering Higher Education Institution (HEI), we’re transforming industry today and tomorrow, by designing and delivering education powered by industry experience.

At Pearson College London, industry engagement drives us; it’s not just what we do, it’s who we are. And it is what will take us, and our students, into the future. Every university focuses on “employability” - what sets us apart is the level of industry engagement that we’re able to offer. Industry engagement is at the core of everything that we do; our industry partners deliver workshops for our students, they also design, develop and deliver our courses, offer our students internship opportunities, set them live briefs and attend their end of term showcases.

When you combine higher education and industry, everyone benefits. Especially when there’s a need for graduates to stand out from the crowd in a competitive market.

Summary of role

Escape Studios is a leading vfx, games and animation training academy based in Central London. We take students with raw talent and shape them into the creative professionals demanded by today’s employers. We’ve trained thousands of students that are now enjoying careers at the best studios around the world.

We’re looking for a Sales Administrator to join our Sales Team, to drive sales of short courses and postgraduate degrees for Escape Studios. A critical part of the role is helping to manage customer data in our CRM system (Salesforce), full training will be given but we’re looking for someone who is comfortable using data and spreadsheets. You will also be a key contact between the Sales Team and the rest of the College, ensuring new students have a smooth transition when joining Escape Studios. You’ll be required to attend events, support the Sales Officers, respond to enquiries via email, phone and live chat, and maintain pages on the website.

You’ll be part of the External Relations Department, our team is fast-paced but we also have a lot of fun. There are opportunities to take part in industry events so an interest in films, vfx, gaming or graphics would be an advantage.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain customer records in our CRM system and pull reports for weekly sales meetings
  • Build knowledge of the creative industries to help promote our products to potential students
  • Build relationships with students to support sales and marketing activity
