The School Division is currently recruiting for contract Sales Associates based in Edmonton, Alberta. These positions are home-office based. The Sales Associate must have their own car.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Associate will focus on school calling, to sell a targeted list of new products in a specific region from April to June 2018.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sell specific new Pearson products; Secondary French, Math, and Elementary literacy and social studies products, into schools.
  • Work in collaboration with the full-time Sales team (Connected Sales Reps and Account Executives) to develop strategy, plan territory calling, and develop targeted messages for each board to ensure clear integration and execution of goals.
  • Travel will be necessary.

Qualifications

>

  • A minimum of three (3) years sales experience with demonstrated sales success.
  • Education background or teaching experience using technology in the classroom would be an asset.
  • Confidence and experience in interacting with Teachers and School Administrators.
  • Strong communication, listening, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Google documents (including Google drive, Word, Excel).
