Based in stunning, heritage-listed offices in Melbourne's Docklands, you have everything at your door step, not to mention the easy 2 minute walk from Southern Cross Station.

The SCRUM master will lead an internal team as well as development partners through the delivery of Pearson projects and products. The role includes processing definition, Agile Scrum based Software development along with cross functional communication, software technical project management, requirements traceability, source code control, test case management and defect tracking.

The SCRUM master will (ideally) also be experienced in front end software development and able to interact with teams at a technical level, potentially contributing to software delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with Product Owner to break down project requirements into actionable design and developer tasks
  • Liaise with stakeholders and provide updates on project progress
  • Coach and mentor project team to facilitate SCRUM adoption and maturity

Qualifications

  • Practical understanding of Agile SCRUM methodology
  • Able to manage teams and provide direction
  • Familiar with software development, with front-end development highly regarded.
