Scrum Master - Agile Scrum
Northampton
Salary Package: Competitive plus package and benefits
Fixed Term Contract 6 - 24 months

St Andrews is recruiting for a Scrum Master.

You will be joining a highly capable and ambitious team with high standards and a clear dedication to patient care. We are here to serve our patients and work together to help patients improve their mental health, re-integrate into society, and lead fulfilling lives. Our patients depend on us and they are the reason why we are driven to deliver excellence each day, every day. To perform to the best of our ability, we innovate and learn all the time.

Job Statement

This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of a number of initiatives as part of the Charity’s data strategy and will require close working with the Data, Insight & Action Team.

The Scrum Master must champion the Agile Scrum methodology, leading agile ceremonies to ensure work tasks are defined, understood, managed, and delivered by the team. This requires rigorous attention to detail, ensuring the team as a whole are on task and on time to deliver projects within budget.

They must be able to understand the development process, proactively seek blockers or impediments, and work to address them in a timely manner.  This will allow development efforts to continue with no or minimal impact to timelines.

The role will also call for interaction with the wider Business Change and IT (BC&It) Team in terms of understanding the Charity’s data requirements and the pipeline for Data Warehouse developments, as well as the communication of these developments ..

The scrum master must be able to manage relationships with Product Owners and Stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, plan and deliver projects and be able to train, educate and coach others on the Agile methodology and process.

If you feel strongly about mental health, if you can lead a bunch of great people that will challenge and delight in equal measure, if you want to dedicate your professional life to the best cause there is, then apply and join our team. We recognise success, work hard, innovate, learn, have fun, support each other and thrive together.

St Andrew’s is the UK’s largest mental health charity. We are a unique organisation with a positive, inclusive, welcoming culture that’s very much our own. We’re guided by shared values, defined by the people who work here and the patients we support. These values shape our behaviours and feed into everything we do. During the recruitment process, you will have the opportunity to speak to our staff and find out what it’s like to work for St Andrews.
