Calling upon your integrity, diplomacy and the ability to work with people at all levels – and leading the relationship with the Audit Committee – this role is a unique opportunity to review activity across the whole organisation as well as deep dive into particular potential areas within Macmillan that need improving, even managing significant incidents.
Responsible for reviewing and enhancing our business robustness as well as monitoring and reporting on each area’s progress, you’ll make recommendations to protect our operations, in a cost effective manner, as we evolve to incorporate new strategic initiatives.
A broad business perspective on risks and controls will enable you to plan, organise and carry out reviews of our business continuity capability. But you will also utilise strong communication and influencing skills when working with management to make change happen and when reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee.
The nature of the role requires you to have demonstrable experience of working in large-scale and complex organisations, conducting both business continuity reviews and managing incidents.
