We are currently looking to recruit a G2 Senior Design Manager to join Change Command, playing a key leadership position in delivering a significant portfolio of change activity across the NCA

Job Description

This activity is transforming how the NCA delivers its mission to cut serious and organised crime. As an NCA officer you can make a difference! We are at the forefront of law enforcement in the UK and we look for a wide variety of skills and experience to protect the public.

 

The role will focus on coordinating the delivery of an exciting and challenging build of key operational capabilities within the NCA. Based from one of our hubs in London, Birmingham or Warrington the successful candidate will support the Head of Design for Enterprise Design Authority (EDA) leading the Intelligence Programme Design using the Enterprise Architecture System Engineering (EASE) methodology, manage the building of effective partner relations, and as part of the Change SLT, fully participate in promoting and maturing design and PPM delivery as a vital professional enabler for the NCA.

 

The ideal candidate for the role will have a proven track record of programme managing the delivery of complex change programmes, preferably in a law enforcement or intelligence environment. The candidate will need to demonstrate a good understanding of project or programme management methodologies, tool and techniques, a working knowledge of relevant legislation affecting agency activity as well as significant experience in effective decision making and accountability for decisions made.

Change Command is reponsible for managing and delivering a significant portfolio of change activity across the NCA and with partners. This activity is transforming how the NCA delivers its mission to cut serious and organised crime. This role will focus on co-ordinating the delivery of an exciting and challenging build of key operational capabilities within the NCA.

 

Key Responsibilities

Based from one of one our hubs in London, Birmingham or Warrington you will be working with internal and external senior stakeholders, business leads and colleagues in Change and other enabling functions to:

  • This exciting and challenging role will support the Head of Design for Enterprise Design Authority (EDA), leading the Intelligence Programme Design using the Enterprise Architecture System Engineering (EASE) methodology.
  • You will have excellent knowledge and experience of NCA Operational Business and have an understanding of the NCA Change Portfolio.
  • Work co-operatively with staff and colleagues to promote high performance and adherence to corporate values. To manage issues relating to the performance and conduct of officers (as required).
  • Manage the building of effective partner relations and work collaboratively with stakeholders and external agencies.
  • In conjunction with the Portfolio Office and the Strategy Team, establish accurate and prompt reporting to service a complex and diverse set of internal and external governance arrangements.
  • As part of the Change SLT, fully participate in promoting and maturing design and PPM delivery as a vital professional enabler for the NCA.
