Position Summary:

The Sr Analyst, CRM and Campaign Analytics will report to the Director of Analytics and will be responsible for reporting, analyzing and optimizing the performance of targeted campaigns and CRM initiatives through the development of data driven insights. The Sr Analyst will partner cross-functionally to develop measurement plans by understanding program goals and strategies. This person should love thinking about the data needed to identify and measure customer journeys, segment audiences and campaigns - while working with email, customer and web traffic data to craft stories and make recommendations to the marketing team. Additionally, you have a demonstrated ability to translate business needs to the available data and can access through the use of tools such as SAS/SQL, Knime or R.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Marketing to define campaign KPIs and develop weekly/monthly performance dashboards for weekly business review with team.
  • Proactively monitor and analyze program and segment performance and provide recommendations for current and future program optimizations.
  • Understand the POBL CRM database, campaign processes and structures to maximize speed to insight and ensure data integrity.
  • Partner with stakeholders to evolve the CRM program via predictive models, longitudinal contact strategy test, personalization and advanced segmentation.
  • Build and maintain productive and trusting relationships with teammates to ensure CRM programs are designed and implemented collaboratively across the organization.
  • Apply best practices in the area of lifecycle segmentation, program design and measurement in support of marketing strategy, program development and execution.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to increase our ‘speed to insight’ via streamlining data access, reporting, analysis and program activation.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in CRM, email, direct marketing and campaign analysis - preferably, in a direct to consumer environment.
  • Demonstrated experience manipulating and merging large transactional databases with SAS/SQL, Knime, R etc.
  • Ability to review and interpret program metrics, draw conclusions and recommend immediate action.
  • Strong history of making confident decisions and influencing key stakeholders across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze situations, derive consumer insights, identify market trends and translate into actionable marketing strategies
  • “Tell a good story” – translate the empirical learnings into a compelling story geared toward action and impact
  • Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity
  • Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce preferred), and web analytic platform such as Google Analytics, Adobe preferable, but not necessary.
