Band 3, Northampton
From £18,325 - £21,500  plus enhancements
Hours: 37.5 – Full time, fully flexible

Lowther Dementia Hub is due to Open early 2020; O’Connell South are looking for a Senior Healthcare assistant to be part of this exciting new venture.

O’Connell South are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our forward thinking team.  We pride ourselves in supporting patients with high levels of challenging behaviours through their pathway from admission to discharge. We offer person centered, holistic care with support from a team of Doctors, nurses, Occupational therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language therapists and dieticians. Service users require support with personal care, feeding, accessing fresh air and engaging in therapeutic activities. 

Your role
As a senior Health Care Assistant, you will provide support that positively impacts the health and wellbeing of service users. Throughout the service user’s journey, you will provide a high standard of care, working in line with the individuals treatment programme. 
In addition to this you will support and mentor other HCA’s and be aligned to additional areas of practice as champions or representatives. You will play a key role in designated areas to support and improve practice on the wards.
