What you need to know about this role
This role will be based in Northampton, supporting the delivery of the local People Strategy providing a dynamic, customer focused and professional service across all aspects of operational HR to an operation that runs 24 hours, seven days a week. The role will have a real focus on coaching and supporting our customers to transform service delivery through effective engagement of their people.

Key Responsibilities:
·         Work closely with business leaders and line management providing expert guidance on a variety of HR matters
·         Drive and deliver effective HR procedures and policies to reflect business aims and focus
·         Advise on the pay strategy
·         Produce and analyse management information using KPI data
·         Carry out investigations and complex employee relations issues
·         Implement succession planning and talent management

This role will report into an HR Business Partner to support the delivery of the People Strategy providing a dynamic, customer focused and professional service across all aspects of operational HR to an operation that runs 24 hours, seven days a week. The role will have a real focus on engagement and supporting our customers to transform service delivery through effective engagement of their people.

And a little more about you
You will have an enthusiastic, positive, collaborative approach and with the ability to work independently supporting clinical and non-clinical departments as required. The ability to build effective relationships with your customer base will be a priority.
 
You will be able to work autonomously and will deal with matters proactively and effectively to drive high performance standards and continuous improvement using your coaching skills where required.
 
You will have a solid understanding of Employment Law and best practice employee relations. The role will provide practical support to managers on Employee Relations cases such as performance management, Absence, Disciplinary, Grievance as well as talent and change management processes. The role will also be involved in ad hoc project work to review and create effective employee relations processes.
 
You’ll have the opportunity to liaise regularly with fellow operational HR professionals ensuring that you always operate within both St Andrew’s Policy and the UK Employment Law framework. Experience of working in a highly operational and unionised environment would be an advantage. You will ideally be CIPD qualified or working towards this.
