The HR Division provides advice and support to the School and its diverse customer base of circa 3,500 employees.
It is an exciting time to be working in the HR Information and Systems team. A Programme of optimisation is underway and expected to span over 3 to 5 years; the programme will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided by HR through enhancing systems, processes and procedures.
The Programme has included the procuring of a new e-recruitment application, the implementation of WebView for our HR/Payroll System ResourceLink, the introduction of additional functionality for ResourceLink to cover employee and manager self-service. Future developments will include online employee career development records in addition to streamlining employee processes through systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the LSE during a period of significant change where you will be part of system development and process improvements. The successful candidate will be working with stakeholders to improve the availability and quality of data to assist the School with its strategic objectives.
Reporting to the HR Manager, Information & Systems the post-holder will assist with the delivery, development and continuous improvement of HR systems and management information. An individual with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude who can challenge the status quo and introduce leaner and more efficient ways of working for the Information & Systems Team, the HR Division and the wider School where appropriate.
Previous experience of using HR systems and Business Intelligence tools are essential to the success of this role. The Post-holder will be required to support the HR Division and the School’s objectives in providing data that can be used across a varied landscape of systems and initiatives.
