We are looking for a Senior IT Service Manager join our community of experts in DWP Digital.

Based across six Digital Hubs, our diverse, dynamic teams have a clear mission to transform the way DWP delivers customer facing services.

We manage numerous major services, covering the movement, storage, creation, transition and transformation of data and documents, as well as the provision of one of the largest contact centre environments in Europe.

Our challenge is to operate resilient and stable services whilst optimising the citizen experience across them all.

In this varied role you'll be working with stakeholders to improve services and output. You'll be managing and forecasting budgets, producing MI and finance reports, ensuring security and monitoring the ITHC across all services, supporting the core activities across the Digital Channels service management team.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

• Previous experience of IT service management.
• Demonstrable experience of supporting products and services both in house and supplier managed.
• Leadership skills and experience in managing a team to deliver successful outcomes.
• Demonstrable history of customer focused service and budgetary management, understanding how service issues impact users.
• Experience of communicating to different stakeholders and ability to show the status and performance of services in various formats.
• Demonstrable history of making and justifying decisions to maintain and improve the services offered.
