Position: Senior Marketer, Customer Acquisition

Reporting to: Manager, Channel Marketing Programmes

Function: Sales & Marketing, Thomson Reuters Legal UK & Ireland

Role Summary:
 

  • As a Senior Marketer, you will need to demonstrate:
  • Experience in executing customer acquisition marketing strategies and tactics for a portfolio of online and SaaS products
  • A passion for marketing across traditional and digital channels
  • Familiarity of using marketing automation systems (use of eloqua is a bonus)
  • A flair for copywriting engaging, relevant and content driven marketing communications
  • Exposure and experience of B2B marketing to a professional services audience (experience of the legal market is preferable although not essential)
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment, with the ability to be reactive and flexible 
  • Knowledge of content/engagement marketing and how to leverage this for lead generation 
  • A strong track record of designing and executing successful lead gen campaigns

 

Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Has an eagle eye for attention to detail
  • Is results driven
  • Has a can do, positive and proactive attitude with a focus on finding solutions as opposed to problems
  • Has confidence to work with a certain level of autonomy, with guidance from the marketing manager, to create and execute effective campaigns which meet strategic goals 
  • Has experience of B2B professional services marketing
  • Has experience marketing technology and SaaS
  • Is creative and innovative, able to think outside the box and is a self starter
  • Is a team player, happy to chip in, coach, help and support other members of the team
  • Is collaborative and proactive in their approach to working with sales to help meet the sales number
  • Has had exposure to more than just email marketing – social, ABM, SEO, PPC experience would be of benefit but not essential
