We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Functional Engineer to take the lead, participate and support the delivery of a small portfolio of applications built on the Oracle E-Business platform.
We need you to play a role as an ambassador for DWP Digital, providing technical representation and consultation. You'll use your expertise and technical leadership to ensure a quality service is delivered for applications used by millions of people.
As we'll as delivering technical excellence, you will build and maintain strong networks and relationships with stakeholders across our Digital teams, directly supporting Delivery Leads and acting as a mentor/coach for other members of the team.
This will be a real test for your skills. You'll trouble-shoot high severity live issues, provide guidance and issue communications for complex or repetitive issues, and proactively maintain Oracle E-business applications. You'll keep services live and working optimally for our users across the UK
You'll have a particular focus on financials and procure-to-pay modules, applying in-depth technical knowledge to resolve live service issues and mitigate of service outages.

You'll be part of a team that provides 24 hours support, 7 days a week and, as a result, you may be expected to work as part of an on-call rota.
