What does the role involve?
Due to growing workloads, we are looking for a bright and ambitious individual to join our Casualty (primarily defence personal injury) Team based in our Birmingham office.
This role is part time, 2 or 3 days per week.
The team as a whole is geared to providing solutions for all classes of casualty claims, EL/PL/property (and some motor). Working with insurers and insureds, we are proactive in resolving even the most complex claims and protecting the reputational interests of the insured. The team you will join defends claims on behalf of corporates, loss adjusters and insurers and provides bespoke and commercial solutions working collaboratively with clients who are engaged and require the best outcomes.

You will be working in a team headed up by partner, Alan Jacobs, and working alongside consultant, Chris Gough, and the senior members of the Casualty Team. What experience is required?
You will have relevant experience defending personal injury claims, although we will also consider an individual
with claimant experience. You will be able to ‘hit the ground running’, and will have managed your own fast track and multi track defence personal injury litigation caseload, and ideally have experience assisting senior members of your team on larger cases
