As a Senior Analyst in Payment and Market Infrastructure Risk, you’ll help achieve this mission by offering insight and making recommendations that contribute to achieving business objectives.
In this high profile role, you’ll implement the Payment and Market Infrastructure Risk framework which will involve detailed analysis of all applicable rules and regulations which will govern how Virgin Money process payments. As an expert, you’ll maintain collaborative relationships and provide guidance which ensures that controls are suitably documented or enhanced accordingly. You’ll establish analytical and reporting routines and analyse regulations, rules and systems to ensure our policies meet regulatory standards.
You’ll support managers and senior leaders with analysis of MI, oversight and assurance in payment and market infrastructure risk. You’ll be a technical expert, working closely with colleagues in other business areas to ensure Virgin Money operates compliantly and achieves its “Be Safe” requirements.
To be successful in this role, you’ll be a technical expert with experience in configuring and testing payment systems and interpreting and applying regulation into businesses processes such as PSD2, Payment Scheme Rules, PAR and PERG to name a few. You’ll possess a well-developed understanding of operational risk frameworks and payment and market infrastructure risk.

Location: This role can be based at our London, Edinburgh or Gosforth office.
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum depending on experience, plus amazing benefits.
