POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Trainer role is a key contributor to the success of the Clinical Assessments sales organization. This position is responsible for developing, delivering and monitoring an effective sales training program for the entire sales organization.

Key emphasis will be placed on new hire onboarding in 2018 as the sales organization is developed. Training responsibilities will include systems such as Salesforce and Oracle as well as sales methodology. Primary sales staff will be located in San Antonio, TX and Bloomington, MN and this position will require periodic travel between those locations to administer effective face to face training.

Additional responsibilities will include the creation and maintenance of a virtual learning environment and content repository where both product and sales documentation will be accessed by the sales team. The sales trainer will also be a key contributor to establishing and administering a quality assurance program focused on continuing education and development of the sales team.

Content & Curriculum Development (30%):

  • Responsible for developing all training curriculum content, materials, delivery strategies, etc.
  • Responsible for designing, developing and administering supporting training resources that will include classroom-based training, online/virtual training, distance learning programs and a resource library.

Training Delivery (40%)

  • Responsible for delivering effective training programs in both face to face and virtual settings.
  • Training content will include effective use of sales tools such as Salesforce and Oracle, Sales methodologies, best practices, selling skills, communication skills, etc.

Quality Assurance & Employee Development (20%)

  • Responsible for developing and administering an effective quality assurance program that is focused on continual development of sales skills across the sales organization.

Other duties as assigned (10%)

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and instruction skills are required.
  • Experience in developing training content using sales enablement tools such as Brainshark required.
  • Significant experience in developing effective training curriculum and programs are a must.
  • Direct experience in building and delivering sales methodologies to a sales organization is required.
  • 5 years of similar training experience required.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
