Summary

The Manager of New Program Development guides the Academic Partners, Business Development, Marketing andRecruitment teams in the development and launch of new partnerships and programs. The position works with

academic partners to ensure that programs are viable in the online space, assess partner marketing practices toassure optimal marketing capability at launch, and deploy new programs effectively. In collaboration with the

marketing and recruitment operations teams, the role leads the internal procedures for identifying, developing, anddelivering new programs. The role is accountable for the effective onboarding of new programs and partnerships as

it relates to the marketing and recruitment functions. Additionally, this role utilizes strong marketing andcommunications skills and services to optimize partner relationships. This position requires expert knowledge and

the ability to work independently.

General Responsibilities

 Helps to identify, analyze/execute new and potential product/services, markets, and advertising opportunities.

 Ensures synergy from discovery to launch by documenting and sharing processes and guides for marketing

function.

 Provides oversight on the planning, implementation, development and or servicing of new marketing ideas forAcademic Partners & internal teams.

 Manages communications projects for various components of the marketing life cycle or services.

 Develops, executes and/or provide service management of marketing objectives.

 Prepares and presents materials/findings both internally and externally for program strategy and launch teams.

 Creates buy in from multiple constituents in a collaborative cross-functional environment.

 Hires, coaches and develops a high-performing team.

 Provides insights which facilitate the development of plans for partner promotion.

 Executes against partner marketing plans to deliver results that exceed defined objectives.

Qualifications

General Qualifications

 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent disciplineOR appropriate combination of experience and education.

 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, account management or a related field with proven ability tomanage across multiple clients/products simultaneously and execute large (both in number and complexity)

projects across numerous cross-functional and central marketing teams.

 Extensive experience in planning and project management of multi-channel and multi-audience asset

development.

 Diversified background with specific knowledge of team structure and process to adeptly leverage internalresources to guide optimum collaboration (RS, IT, Creative, Copy, Conversion, all Media Channels, etc.) in ahigher education environment.

 Excellent strategic problem solving skills to guide team discussion and problem solving with consideration ofmultiple factors and stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises a team.
