Why we need you:


The Senior Talent Advisor is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the recruiting function by partnering with stakeholders to develop and implement an effective sourcing, screening and selection process.You will be part of a global Talent Acquisition team and focus on using creative sourcing strategies to sourcetechnologytalent.This position reports to the Director, Talent Acquisition.

We need you to collaborate with the senior leadership team and HR business partners to understand hiring needs and future requirements. You will promote effective use of recruitment tools, and adhere to processes and systems that feed into the Global TA function and market roles internally and externally.In the spirit of our brand at Pearson “Always Learning” and with your senior level recruiting expertise, we would like you to mentor and guide others on the team to be the best Talent Acquisition Advisors we can be.

What we need you to do:

●Lead and develop recruitment strategies for criticaltechnologyroles

●Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay up to date in current and future hiring and business needs

●Focus on continuous improvements to increase hiring process efficiency

●Stay connected with external market factors as well as new best practices/trends affecting recruiting.

●Use feedback from candidates and hiring managers to improve processes

●Guide and educate hiring managers on process, policies and programs

●Drive technology applications (ATS, onboarding etc.) to improve process efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery

●Maintain data, and report on all hiring activity and metrics.

●Support, plan and actively advocate Pearson’s diversity goals and initiatives

●Manage relationships with vendors and partners

●Provide an excellent candidate experience

●Project manage key initiatives that impact the overall technology recruitment strategy

Qualifications

What we need you to bring:


●5 years of experience with full-lifecycle recruiting - identifying, evaluating and hiring high calibre talent in a technology organisation

●Experience recruiting in a large enterprise organization. Experience achieving recruitment KPIs.

●Extensive experience recruiting a varietyoftechnical positions across Architecture, Security, Infrastructure and Development.

●Outstanding communication skills: including the ability to influence business partners and key decision makers across the organisation

●Understand the importance of candidate experience and is able to operate with a customer focused mindset at all times

●Able to think creatively and design innovative sourcing campaigns

●Strong business acumen, analytical and planning skills with a genuine desire to understand the way digital technology is impacting education

●Strong sense of urgency and ability to drive and deliver results

●Strong proficiency with all technologies – ATS, MS Office, social, and business intelligence

●Work on global team projects like the Talent Acquisition branding/marketing initiatives, team training opportunities, diversity and inclusion, TA programs, internship program, professional and/or university recruiting events.

●Previous experience providing training, leading strategic initiatives and leading group meetings
