Located in four offices throughout the UK our dedicated support teams provide a range of services, from overseeing the grant management process for the geography Service Development teams, admin support for our direct volunteering services and Learning and Development teams, who provide specialist courses for Macmillan Health Professionals, the wider health care workforce and for people living with and affected by cancer.
A fundamental role to the success of this critical service function, the Service Operations Manager for our UK Partnerships team, will inform and lead the implementation of the change transformation programmes whilst ensuring minimum disruption to ‘business as usual’ activity. You will maintain excellent relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
By working closely with other change programmes and key customers you will navigate the support teams through transformational change which will directly impact the existing systems, processes and ways of working. Resulting in support teams that are fit for purpose and will underpin the development of excellent long term working relationship between Macmillan service development teams and Partner Organisations, ultimately benefitting people living with and/or affected by cancer
Your background and experience will demonstrate a proven track record in implementing transformational change in a large support function setting. The ability to handle sensitive and conflicting priorities whilst maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders will be highly regarded. You will also have considerable experience in leading and developing high performance teams and working in a matrix structure
