As a member of our Software Quality Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile/Scrum frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

Qualifications

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Hands on experience in Test Automation using Selenium with Java/C\# and Groovy Scripting
  • Hands on experience in BDD automation approach and framework like Cucumber/Java, Geb with Spock
  • Strong knowledge in RESTful API test automation using Restlet, SOAPUI, POSTMAN and/or DHC
  • Hands on experience in Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo
  • Good experience in Version control/Source control management tool like Bitbucket,GitHub
  • Hands on experience in Build management Tool like Maven, Ant, Gradle
  • Good experience in Test management tools like HP ALM, JIRA
  • Hands on experience in creation of Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Summary Reports
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
  • Assist QA Leads/managers in planning/developing a test plan which includes E2E testing and Regression
  • Assist Application Developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving defects
  • 7 years of relevant IT/quality assurance work experience, including 5 years in Quality Engineering with a thorough knowledge of software development life cycle principles and quality assurance processes and methodologies, as well as 3 years of hands of experience with automated test tools
  • Knowledge in testing of middleware services is preferred
  • Experience in large, complex system implementation projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering and technical field
  • Provide technical leadership to offshore QA and Dev teams are desired
