We have an exciting opportunity for a highly detailed and organized Senior UI Developer who is eager to apply their skill set and talent into supporting our rapidly expanding digital marketing efforts. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamically-driven websites. You will deliver the front-end coding of the user interface for a wide range of Pearson's internal and external websites, both new and existing.

Position located at our Glenview, IL, Boston, MA, or Chandler, AZ office site!

Here is what you will get to do:

  • Oversee the complex front-end coding of our products
  • Write standards ensuring they are compliant and accessible; using Javascript, HTML5, CSS code
  • Directly collaborate with Usability Analysts, Interaction Designers, and Product Managers, developing highly usable Web application interfaces
  • Create interactive elements for new and existing page designs
  • Maintain existing internal and consumer websites

Qualifications

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • MUST HAVE responsive design experience; ability to develop creative responsive web design using CSS and working with major websites
  • Using CSS, build tables, structures from browser to browser; working on complicated systems
  • 5 years JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, excellent technology vision
  • Understanding of coding for cross-browser, cross-platform and cross-device compatibility
  • Subject matter expert on Web Content Management
  • Proven track record of implementing large scale web projects, with exceptional quality on tight deadlines
