Job Description

The LSE’s Summer School is the largest and most successful of its kind in Europe. Over 7,000 students from all over the world attended the programme over nine weeks in 2017, and the team is proud that 96% of the cohort stated that they would recommend the programme to others. The Summer School, Executive and International Programmes unit is highly successful within LSE and has ambitions to grow its client base over the coming years.


The fixed-term Programme Assistant will join a team committed to providing an outstanding level of service and front-line support to our students, from the enquiry stage right through to attendance and certification. We are seeking applications from candidates with excellent administrative, organisational and communication abilities that will equip them to join a small team, dedicated to replicating the ‘LSE Experience’ for Summer School students.


To be successful in this role, you will have a good standard of education and ideally be looking to develop a career within Higher Education. It will require the ability to work well as part of a team and also dedication to high levels of customer service. The role can offer opportunities for career progression to the right candidate.
