Job Description

Are you looking to work in a highly motivated and supportive team environment? If so, we’re looking for a Supporter Events Coordinator with a track record of providing excellent customer care to join our team.

Working in closely with our Philanthropy, Corporate Partnerships, Research and Insight Teams, senior volunteers and high value committees, you’ll support on creating and delivering shared opportunities including sector leading high-profile fundraising events and cultivation events that are meaningful, relevant and uniquely Macmillan.

Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic, you have excellent communication and relationship management skills and be able to adapt confidently to all social settings. Previous experience of working with committees and donors is desirable as is experience of using CRM systems. You must be able to demonstrate strong teamwork skills and have a good attention to detail. Excellent time management is also key to succeeding in this role.

This role does require occasional weekend and evening work attending events and out of hours working in the lead up to our major fundraising events. Please note our events can be based anywhere in the country. You will be compensated for your evening / weekend work with days in lieu and we commit to developing you throughout your career at Macmillan.
