As a result we now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Systems Delivery Manager to lead a multi-disciplined team to deliver support, drive continuous improvement and major enhancements to the Virgin Money Giving website, our not-for-profit fundraising platform that truly demonstrates Virgin Money as a bank that does things differently.

As a first class Systems Delivery Manager, you’ll lead, manage and develop a team of Analysts, Developers and Testers and influence the strategic and technical direction of the change programme with your excellent domain and industry knowledge. You’ll have a fantastic opportunity to make a major contribution to our IT Transformation agenda being a major player in our Agile, DevOps and Continuous Delivery journey.

You’ll own relationships with suppliers and commercial partners, forecast and plan capacity for internal, partner and third party resource requirements. Innovative in your approach, you’ll take responsibility for delivering continuous improvements within the team, IT Solutions and the IT Change function and deliver an IT service that enables our business growth ambitions against the IT roadmap.


To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience of leading Development teams and successful development phases of projects through industry recognised software development lifecycles and methodologies. As a strong communicator, you’ll build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, 3rd parties and suppliers and have a proven track record of designing innovative business solutions. Experience of delivering change in a not-for-profit business would be a huge advantage. Commercially astute, you’ll be experienced in quality assurance and financial management of projects and have a sound understanding of system development and support.
