Team Administrator - Scotland

£16,000 - £18,000 + Benefits

 

Committed and enthusiastic, your proven organisational skills will be pivotal to your delivery of a flexible, high quality admin service in a busy, varied and customer-facing role. You will use them to support the smooth and efficient operation of the Office for Scotland’s day to day business - from reception services to office facilities and the daily routine of filing, typing, handling enquiries and managing records. You’ll also assist in the recruitment and training of volunteers, administer events that range from learning and development activities to parliamentary launches, manage diaries and organise meetings, travel and accommodation. 

With a track record in meeting the diverse support needs of multifunctional teams and managers, and of organising complex meetings and large scale events, you are flexible, adaptable, and effective in managing your work to meet deadlines and objectives across a variety of workstreams. Able to turn your hand to anything, you are happiest when making a proactive and positive contribution within a team and customer service environment. Your application must also evidence good MS Office skills and experience of working with databases and systems.

Please note that interviews for this role will take place at our current office in 132 Rose Street (EH2 3JD). However, from mid-September, the location of this role will be at our new Edinburgh office in Caledonian Exchange, 3rd Floor, 19A Canning Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8EG.
