As a Technical Lead on the Data, integrations delivery team, you will leverage our data assets to enable analytics and operational solutions for the entire organization. You’ll work on a team of engaged individuals that are passionate about data, SOA middleware, architecture and leveraging new technology to help the organization grow and innovate.Resources would be managing, leading the development, testing and implementation of EDW in cloud environment. Expected to mentor, coach members of the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead large project efforts in programming-based data warehouse design, development and testing
  • Provide technical advice to senior IT management or project managers, assisting them with high level planning or issue resolution
  • Work with data architects and enterprise Architects to build technology roadmaps and nextgen data solutions.
  • Work with functional and architecture teams to complete the discovery phase for analyzing highly complex system and requirements.
  • Will provide technical guidance on complex projects with developers.
  • Conducts Code reviews and coordinates work products between team members.
  • Coordinates activities between multiple timezones (on-shore and offshore). Expert experience in Agile development methodology.
  • Work cross functionally to implement data driven projects
  • Work with cross program teams to track the inter project dependencies and call out risks / issues that will hinder the delivery timelines of the project.
  • Collaborate and contributes to the development of data marts, systems, and technical capabilities based on long range business plans and vision.
  • Regularly engages with the data community and participates in cross-functional working groups.
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time and drive towards the delivery date.
  • Work with data architects and enterprise Architects to build technology roadmaps and nextgen data solutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in technical or business discipline or related experience required. Computer science background preferred.
  • 6 years of Data Warehouse experience
  • 2 years Technical Leadership experience
  • Expert experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions using a major ETL and reporting framework.
  • Proven skills in cloud technologies like AWS or GCS.
  • Expert level programming knowledge in Java or Python
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with significant uncertainty, applying test and learn with rapid iterations to converge on a solution
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and implementing it day to day project activities.
  • Must possess strong analytical, strategic, decision-making and problem-solving skills. Experience leading or influencing a team to push the solution and progress.
  • Display a creative approach to solving complex technical data analysis problems. Strong experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty.
  • Expert level experience with relational databases, knowledge about big data concepts, SOA middleware,semantic data modelling, RESTful Architecture,Javascript API’s required.
  • Knowledge in reporting tools like Tableau and OBIEE

Well qualified candidates will possess many of the following characteristics:

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Bachelors’ degree in relevant field (business, computer science, etc.) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in Google technologies like bigquery,pubsub,appengine and dataflow.
  • Comfortable working in “big data” environment to continuously seek and promote automation and adoption
  • Ability to give effective training and presentations to peers and senior team members.
  • Ability to establish and build relationships with business organization.
  • Experience working & managing modern data technologies.
  • Familiar with Design and Delivery thinking.
