This is an exciting opportunity to join the Telecoms Delivery UK (TDUK) in DCMS. The TDUK team is responsible for the delivery of 3 Government major programmes: Superfast Broadband Programme – delivering superfast broadband to 95% of the UK; Local Full Fibre Networks Programme - supporting commercial investment in “full fibre” broadband networks – the “gold standard” for broadband: and Spectrum programme – clearing radio spectrum for other uses e.g. mobile, voice and data services.
As the new TDUK Spectrum Programme Director you will be responsible for setting the overall vision and direction of delivery the spectrum programme. You will ensure the successful delivery of the £600m Major Project to clear radio spectrum at 700-790 MHz ensuring appropriate governance and assurance processes are followed across delivery partners.
Whilst not essential, it would be helpful for candidates to be able to demonstrate knowledge or experience of the telecoms, broadcasting and digital industries.
