Test Security Administrator - Video Surveillance & Investigation

Key Responsibilities1)This position is primarily responsible for remote monitoring of Pearson channel, analysing trends and reporting anomalies. 2)The person will also engage in design, implementation and tracking of existing and new security procedures, policies and programs to ensure that Pearson VUE becomes the highest quality test provider in the eyes of all audiences and, in particular, our key clients. 3)Identify potential security risk for client exams using remote monitoring technique and other similar tools. 4)Investigating security incidents and risks and proactively own their resolution. 5)As required, recommend and implement corrective actions such as re-training, suspension or termination of testing centres. 6)Make recommendations for technology and process improvements to support security policies and initiatives 7)Pro-actively monitor the testing channel for security risks by utilising existing reports/creating new reports/ to investigate new security trends. 8)Managing the systematic risk profiling of APAC countries for PLT testing. 9)Managing the integrity shopping and working with Channel Quality in issuing corrective action and feedback to all concerned parties. 10)To run and investigate security cases in APAC in conjunction with the global security teams as necessary, and report and document tthe outcome of such investigation in global share point. 11)Act as an escalation point for PLT security issues in APAC and in turn, escalate where appropriate to the VSI-Manager-APAC
Key Tasks1)Conduct regular remote monitoring –both Live and Recorded feed using video surveillance to identify and highlight potential risk. 2)Conduct thorough investigations into security risks and incidents in APAC countries, working with internal staff, systems and data, as well as third parties to assemble the required information. 3)Maintain accurate documentation of investigations with evidences using the Global Security Sharepoint system. 4)Run various VSS reports and conduct investigations in APAC as appropriate, including collaboration with global security teams. 5)Investigating Pearson testing channel through remote monitoring and detecting abnormality, identifying trends & review of candidate biometrics 6)Timely report any instances of misconduct and review evidence available to recommend center closure/candidate exam revocation 7)Pro-actively monitor the APAC testing channels for test to maintain testsecurity, by utilising the reports available in VSS reporting section and BI Tool or create new reports to examine new security trends uncovered. 8)Keep stakeholders informed of all new security risks in APAC by attending global investigation meetings and discussing security trends with the global security teams or reading cases on sharepoint. 9)Analyse regular audit results from PLT site visits by EDMs and compare the results with mystery shops. Document & share results with stake holders
Essential skills, Qualifications and competences1)Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as information security, operations or project management, research or investigation. 2)At least 3-4 years’ experience in a related function, involving management of security / fraud investigations and resolution. 3)Experience of gathering and presenting information to support legal actions. 4)Attention to detail and a strong level of commitment to a task. 5)Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, aiding in influencing and persuading external parties. 6)Time management and prioritization skills, leading to the ability to balance the demands of multiple projects at any given time. 7)Evidence of problem solving and analytical skills, both in line with established processes and procedures, and also using creativity to develop innovative new policies. 8)The ability to exercise discretion in the conduct of sensitive investigations into security breaches. 9)Sound working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite and associated packages inclusing Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Internet Packages.
Preferred Skill1)Prior investigation work and experience of video monitoring and collating evidence to legal standards 2)Experience and understanding of the testing industry preferred.
