Are you a strong administrator with an interest in helping employers to support people affected by cancer in the workplace?

Job Description

If so, this is a great opportunity to join our fast-paced team and build on your proven coordination, customer service and time management skills.

In this varied role you will liaise with employers to arrange training, order materials and update databases, keeping accurate financial records and managing travel arrangements for our trainers. You will act as a first point of contact for employers, trainers, volunteers and colleagues with queries about our Macmillan at Work programme and will help to promote the work of the team through social media. With your attention to detail and solid IT skills you will support updates to our training, marketing and online materials and organise aspects of our conference attendance.

Providing support across a busy team, you will demonstrate excellent administrative, communication and relationship-building skills. With a good understanding of the impact of cancer on work for both employers and employees, you will also have experience of effective teamwork, organising your own workload to meet deadlines, liaising with multiple stakeholders and working with data.

In return for your enthusiasm and hard work, we commit to actively develop you. Our benefits include private medical insurance, life assurance, pension and generous annual leave.
