Job Description

Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator
Fixed Term (5 Months)
£23,000 - £26,000

This job is to coordinate our Volunteering Village platform and wider recruitment and selection systems and processes, driving the quality and quantity of volunteering opportunities advertised and improving the user journey for potential volunteers searching for opportunities and for Macmillan staff and partners advertising them.

Working with colleagues and utilising a teamwork approach, you will apply your communication, interpersonal and influencing skills actively to promote and champion volunteer recruitment both internally and externally.

You will be a central point of contact and support for staff using the Volunteering Village, providing guidance and training in using the platform and will work with teams across Macmillan on projects such as digital recruitment campaigns, reporting developments, social media and internal communications.

To succeed in this varied and interesting role will take excellent organisational skills and solid administrative/office IT skills. You will also need to demonstrate previous experience of working in a customer-focused environment, effectively supporting diverse groups of stakeholders as well as collating and analysing data, as well as having the organisational ability to manage multiple priorities to deadlines.
