Job Description

This job is responsible for helping to deliver new and improved systems for volunteer recruitment and management.You will work with teams across the organisation and multiple skill & experience sets, overseeing the workstreams with stakeholder input from multiple directorates and to hold them, and other business leads, to account. You will manage senior stakeholder engagement and change management, supporting business leads across all affected directorates in planning the required business change and benefits realisation activity.

With the necessary project management experience, you will be competent at managing a portfolio of work and identifying the capability and resources needed. You will be a good communicator who can build strong and collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders and work with people across all levels of the Macmillan. You will also ensure that all developments are on time, on budget and in collaboration with a range of stakeholders, including volunteers.

This role is primarily office based, with some travel required. Some evening and out-of-hours work will also be required, and occasional overnight stays.

The vacancy is available initially as an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract. There is a possibility this term will be extended in the future.
