Widening Participation Coordinator - fixed term for six months
Salary from £30,029 to £34,487 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £37,050 pa inclusive (fixed term for six months)
Working with around 2,500 young people each year Widening Participation at LSE delivers a comprehensive Programme of activity to meet LSE’s commitments within the School’s Access and Participation Plan and the LSE Strategy 2030. The Widening Participation Coordinator will support and deliver a range of projects across the Team as well as contributing to the development of new and innovative WP projects.
The post holder will also be involved in recruiting, training and supervising academic and student staff involved with the projects; and liaising with schools and colleges involved with Widening Participation (WP) projects.
Candidates should have:
General knowledge of UK education and widening participation issues
Experience of working with children and/or young people in an educational environment
Experience of organising events
Ability to understand and convey information in a clear and accurate manner
