What you will be doing
As our Access to Information Administrator, you will work within a small team to provide day to day administrative support in relation to the access to information and the records management services.
You will manage the shared inbox, receive and acknowledge all incoming requests for information, ensuring they are recorded on relevant systems. Assist with ensuring that new requests are allocated appropriately amongst the team and actioned and that deadlines are monitored and any delays are escalated. You will manage the shared inbox, receive and acknowledge all incoming requests for information that fall under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR), ensuring they are recorded on relevant systems. Assist with ensuring that new requests are allocated appropriately amongst the team and actioned and that deadlines are monitored and any delays are escalated. You will also be supporting the records management service through tasks including the preparation of files for destruction or transfer to the National Archives.
