Salary £10,200 per annum plus expenses
Circle 33 is part of the Circle Housing Group, one of the UK’s largest providers of affordable housing. Circle 33 owns over 17,000 homes, directly managing 8,000 of these in London. The Trust is committed to enhancing people’s life chances through the provision of excellent services, partnership working and the regeneration of local communities.
The Circle 33 Board is looking for a new Chair. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in financial and risk management; customer centred service delivery and who live in or have a good knowledge of our main areas of operation i.e. Islington, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Haringey, Waltham Forest and Camden.
An understanding of the social housing sector would be an advantage but of primary importance is a passion for excellent service delivery and a strong commitment to resident involvement. As Chair of the Circle 33 Board you will help direct strategy and contribute to decision making. You will need to share the aims and values of Circle 33 and the Circle Group and be willing to give a commitment of both time and energy.
You will need to be able to attend at least six evening board meetings a year as well as participating in complaints panel hearings, training and other events.
